Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not from Mayo (but moving there soon) so can't answer your question exactly.

I have heard of an in-line skating hockey team being set up in Breaffy, near Castlebar - its about 15-20 mins from Claremorris. Might be good.

    Here's a link.

The GAA club is always a good way to get to know others, even if you just get involved behind the scenes. The squash courts are in the same building as the GAA changing rooms, so they could point you in the right direction.

Theres a tennis club beside the GAA pitch. Aswell, there's indoor soccer in Barnacarrol a few miles away, but groups usually book it themselves. Theres an astro turf pitch at the racecourse. I think you could get info on it in O'Briens pub (by the railway bridge-a big soccer/football pub...and cheap too ;)).
There's plenty to do in the town and the new pool/gym will be open soon aswell.
    Hope that helps.

Nice golf club there too and dont think it would be expensive to join.

Astroturf grand, there is also a running/athletics club organised I think, as one of the others mentioned, O'Briens will have all the info, and a good pint at 3.40 as well!
