    For those of you who like to watch the cocky, the deluded and the hopeless being humiliated on TV, the new series starts next week. :)

    Just from reading the candidates profiles there seems to be the usual mix of people:

    Token ice-maiden (Debra)
    Token cocky guy (Ben)
    Token nice person who will be eaten alive (Kimberly)
    Token eccentric male (Noorul)
    Token working-class-hero with sob story (Lorraine)

    Should be interesting! :pac:

    I LOVE this show I've been meaning to watch the american one but to me Alan sugar just seems to have a charm for want of a better word.

    he also doesn't come accross as a complete ****wit like Bill Cullen does.

    IMO Reality TV sub board required.

    The Apprentice, Big Brother, even Celeb Banisteor, Fierm Factor, Underdogs, The Irish Apprentice will all be talked about soon enough. And the Apprentice certainly needs somewhere to reside.

    Apparently two of the contestants get off with each other again this year.

    Can't wait, it's my favourite tv show.

    Here here. I requested this before and nothing happened. I wouldn't even mind not having a board for it if there could be parallel discussions about aspects of the show. It's the way the disparate threads get merged into one that makes the post-Apprentice discussions on boards frustrating.

    +1, I'm thinking of sending them my therepy bills. Yes that was two seasons ago, doesn't time fly when you're desperately trying to supress unpleasant mental images! :)

    Can't wait for this tonight. Not into Reality TV but love The Apprentice. Apparantly, one of the contestants dropped out before filming even began so it looks like there's going to be drama from the very beginning.
