Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hamilton where he deserves to be again :D

Jenson Button has finished fastest of Tuesday's runners for the Brawn team in Spain. The Englishman's time was the quickest yet for a 2009-spec car at the Jerez circuit, beating Alonso's fastest from yesterday (Monday) by almost half a second. Lewis Hamilton finished last of the runners as Nico Rosberg's day was hampered by an off in the Williams.

On Brawn's last day of pre-season testing, Button managed 114 laps and topped the timesheets with a lap time of 1.17.844; the team, whose name was confirmed by the FIA in Paris earlier, has enjoyed an almost faultless eight days of testing in Barcelona and Jerez.

Rosberg's Williams finished within two tenths of Button's time, although the German suffered an off in the afternoon which resulted in just 66 laps being completed.

Nelson Piquet Junior completed the most laps of anybody with 133, as Renault rounded off their pre-season testing. Lewis Hamilton's McLaren-Mercedes was in fourth position and last of today's runners with 121 laps added to his mileage; the World Champion's best effort left him 1.2 seconds behind Button's best.

Tomorrow will see just Williams and McLaren at the circuit, with Hamilton's team remaining in Spain longer to enjoy an empty track on Thursday.
