    Hi lads,

I have to go from Heuston Station to D14, Rathgar, Orwell Road. Which way is better by public transport. I have plenty of time to do that way so taxi is not an option.

What bus shall I take from O'Connel str for my destination?

    Thank you

Get the Luas to Abbey Street, then walk to O'Connell Street

The following buses go to Rathgar

14- Orwell Park is mentioned on the route
    15
    15a/b

    and a lot more

It would take about 46-60 minutes depending on traffic, then to walk to the destination in Rathgar.

Take the Luas to Abbey St then head to the first bus stop on Eden Quay where you can get any of the 15s (or a 65, if you see one pulling in to the next stop up.)

Just make sure you get off at the Abbey Street Lower stop. The first stop in Abbey Street Upper is much further from O'Connell Street.

...isn't it called "Jervis" on the Luas?

And the correct one is called "Abbey Street"?

It is indeed called 'Jervis' (but it is on Abbey Street Upper - hence my confusion).

I've walked past that stop lots of times and never noticed that it was called 'Jervis'.

Serge - apologies if I've caused any confusion! :o
