I am surprised no one has questioned where Gennie was driving too and why Debbie found her and could she have perhaps killed her as in caused the accident still even with Brenda hearing part of the dictaphone recording  Brenda should have played it all for Chas and not given it to Debbie as said above they were never friends and Chas is Gennie's half sister

I was only half watching last night, did Debbie erase part of the tape?

Yes she erased the part where Cameron confessed to her that he'd killed Carl. (Convenient for Debbie that nobody else heard that bit, as I've said before).

Then she moved on further in the tape and heard some of the conversation between Cameron and Gennie, when he went down to the car and she was badly injured after the crash. Judging by Debbie's facial contortions at the end of the episode, I'm guessing that the penny finally dropped for her that Cameron finished Gennie off after the crash.

Thanks for this. Yes, I saw the facial contortions alright :D.

The state of that wig Charity is wearing, she looks awful.

Didn't Cain and Charity pull this scan before? The person ends up with their car nicked.

Emmerdale bosses will mark the death of long-running character Alan Turner following the passing of Richard Thorp.

The actor, who had played the role of Alan on the ITV soap for over 30 years, died in May at the age of 81.

The storyline, which was developed after consultation with the actor's family, will see his character peacefully pass away in his sleep.

A funeral will then be shown at the end of October and will see the return of actress Lorraine Chase, who played Alan's daughter Steph Stokes.

Chase's character was last seen in the soap in 2006 when she was wrongly jailed for murder. She will be escorted back for the funeral by prison guards.

Speaking of her return, Chase said: "l was devastated when l heard the news that my dear friend Richard Thorp had died.

"He was a wonderful, joyous man, a great actor, and l felt privileged to have worked with him so closely.

"When Emmerdale rang me to ask if l would consider coming back to guest at his character Alan - my on-screen dad's - funeral, I was overjoyed. I just wish with all my heart that the circumstances were different."

Emmerdale producer Kate Oates added: "Alan Turner was so important to Emmerdale and we felt it was right to give his character a proper send off.

"It will be emotional as both the character and Richard are sorely missed and will be for a long time to come".

That is nice that they are doing that. He was a lovely character in the programme, and had his own trials, Steph included :)

I loved Steph. She was such a camp character. Remember when she was drugging Alan and kept him in bed in the B and B and went on all "Misery" on him :D

Is Steph in prison for killing her mate Shelley?

She took the rap for the murder of her brother (her husband killed him then killed himself) to ease her guilt at what happened to Shelley

I have some of this forgotten. There were some great storylines over the years, in Emmerdale.

And of course the late lamented Tricia was his grand-daughter, the first Love of Marlon's colouful love life!!! I hope they remember that in the episode, cos it certainly seems to have been pretty much forgotten.

I doubt there was even a conversation between Marlon and Alan in recent years event though Alan was in the pub during a lot of his scenes with Betty, Edna et al.

Does Debbie wear anything other than shorts lately? She looks ridiculous. Must be trying to show off her fake tan.

Like their fellow ITV soap, Emmerdale have made a right mess of the unmasking of the murderer.

This whole bugging of house and trying to get Cameron to confess lark, is real Keystone Cops. Debbie is acting so weird, surely super criminal Cameron notices something. He noticed Chas's unlikely reaction in the pub when she wished them well on their engagement, only a matter of time before he notices that Debbie is even weirder than usual. Of course its all done to make Debbie the hero in the end and cover up the fact that she had evidence of Cameron's guilt and did nothing about it and then deleted his confession from the recorder. Super Debbie strikes again.

Where have Berniece and Gabby gone? Would Gabby not need to be at school?

I can see trouble ahead for the cafe threesome. No doubt about it.

The only bright spark last night was Nicola being sarky with Declan in the pub. No better woman.

Bernice and Gabby have gone to see Bernice's other daughter, Gabby's half sister before she goes to live in Oz with her father.

Will the cafe threesome be a threesome?

Thanks. Why did Diane decide not to go with them to Oz ?
