Cleaning the skylight in bathroom

Hi, i'm a bit baffled about how to clean the skylight in bathroom. Probably an easy solution, i just cant see it! i tried unscrewing the ring part ,it seems to be stuck. Anyone have same type of skylight :confused: thanks for help :o
