Canon SX1 IS - Where to buy?

Hi folks! I tried ordering this camera online through http://www.warehouseexpress.com as they said they had 4 in stock, only to be told the following day that they didn't have any in stock and it would probably take 2 weeks to get one.

Is there any shop in Dublin that might actually have this camera in stock and at a fair price? or is there any other website anyone could recommend to me? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that was replaced long ago, sure dont they have the sx10 now?

SX1 IS is the latest model and newer than the SX10.

Was going to recommend Jessops until I checked the prices and see that they're asking £499 while Warehousexpress are looking for £399 (Eur 425), it's Eur 550 in Conns, can't see it on Berminghams or Halls websites.

any one know of the best place to purchase this camera? for a good price.. most shops in dublin if they have stock are quoting E599.. a wee bit steep imo
nice camera although the panasonic gh1 looks fantastic its a lot more expensive..

yea man looks good... will check it out if i dont have to pay customs charges then 358+40 delivery charge is the best i've found

Got the Canon sx1 is on digital-cameras.com/camerabox.com same company two different sites.. E410 delivered.. ordered it tuesday late and received it thursday morning.. very fast delivery.. amazing camera... went to a few shops in town with cash to buy one but staff in these shops seemed uninterested in making a sale.. so delighted to get this camera nearly E200 cheaper online than anywhere in Dublin!
