Help! Separated and need help on buying out my (ex) wife

    HI everyone ,please help im seperated and had 2 move out of house, what is the story on one of us buying each other out, and transferring of deeds to one name. Is IT 50% EACH, i payed everything for the 4 yrs?Can one person just sign over the house without getting anything for it if they wish?Any help on this please as paying rent and the house = baked beans and radio:confused::confused:

    To the best of my knowledge, this is done on a case by case basis. Both you and your ex wife would probably need to be means tested first (ie any income coming in, and expenditures etc).

    You may get better information if you post this in the legal forum, I would imagine though.
