    This webpage is likely to give food for thought to those of use who suffer low or lowish Signal to Noise ratios....(predominantly those of us who are a good distance from the local exchange).

    Note that the "target" SNR is 6dB!

    I think they may have their numbers wrong, on both ip-stream and any LLU kit I've seen the lowest acceptable SNR margin is 9db....anything lower risks line instability issues or loss of sync.

    Also alot of this info refers to IP-Stream product in the UK which is not entirely the same as the bit-stream services in Ireland.

    Also the likes of BRAS profiles in the UK don't apply to LLU suppliers.
