Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aye its on both Setanta Ireland and Channel five both available on Sky.

Here is a how to add channel 5 to Sky from the sat forum:

We'll begin with the frequency (10773H 22000 5/6) that Five, BBC3 and BBC4 are broadcast on, and you can repeat the process using the frequency table below to add the other channels of your choice (ie ITV1, ITV2 BBC Radio etc.)

To add channels to your "Other Channels" option, do the following -

With your digibox turned on, press the "Services" button (near the top of the remote).

Select number 4 (System Setup), and then 4 again ("Add Channels").

In the appropriate fields enter the following (you move through the fields using the up and down arrow keys).

In the Frequency field enter: 10.773,

The next three fields are toggle fields, i.e. using the left and right arrows will change the value.

    Toggle Polarisation to : H
    Toggle Symbol Rate to: 22000
    Toggle FEC to : 5/6

Then select the last button - Find Channels.

After a few seconds the channels should appear. The channels on this frequency should be - BBC One London, BBC Two England, BBC News 24, BBC Four, CBBC, CBeebies, BBC Three, BBC One Northern Ireland and BBC Radio Cymru.

Use the Yellow button to place a tick beside each one you wish to store and when you've finished ticking press "Select". These channels will now be stored.

You can view them by pressing the "Services" button, then 7 "Other Channels" (Other Channels is option 9 on Sky+ and Sky+ HD), use the arrow keys to move to the channel you want and press "Select".

Aalborg: Zaza, Bogelund, Lasse Nielsen, Jakobsen, Beauchamp, Due, Johansson, Augustinussen, Caca, Risgaard, Shelton. Subs: Kenneth Nielsen, Sorensen, Nomvethe, Tracy, Kristensen, Ronnie Nielsen, Dalsgaard.
Man City: Given, Richards, Dunne, Onuoha, Bridge, Wright-Phillips, Zabaleta, Kompany, Ireland, Robinho, Evans. Subs: Hart, Berti, Garrido, Elano, Fernandes, Caicedo, Etuhu.

Evans leading the line is just wrong I think considering City are rubbish on the road. Is Caicedo injured. Where is Elano.

Elano away from home? Are ya mad?

Good start anyway, though I'm getting fed up with Dolan already.

This isn't a very good match at all at all :|

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

City seem to be playing very narrow? Bridge is cutting in to the center instead of pushing out onto the wing leaves the box very crowded Ireland and evans can't get a shot off really

Lol Mad Zab claims another victim. Legend.

EDIT: Quality little move from Robby.

Job half done, though I expect to see the kitchen sink from them in the second.

Think we might nick one on the break.

I would say it was some sight seeing Pat Dolan squeezing up into the commentary gantry especially if its one of those old scaffold ones were you climb a ladder.

From listening to his commentry so far I dont think he is in the stands at all, he must be up Stephen Irelands hole at this stage the amount of arse licking he is dishing out!

Granted he is having a decent game but Christ give it a rest Pat!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

    Well that was a peno.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

    No peno?

Are those gombeens lookign at the video they are commentating on? The reverse angle showed the Aalborg player touched it on to Garrido. Either way, if they Linesman or the Ref say they definately saw contact on that in real time, they are liars.

Thats two or three times tonight I'd swear Dolan is listenign to the radio and comentating from that. For about 10 secs before he realised Bridge was looking to come off, he was debating whther he was injured. All the while at the top of the screen Bridge is waving at the line and signalling for the sub.

Thought he might give one for the dive there.:D

City should have killed them off .Hard to believe they let them back into it , bit of complacency crept in .If it goes to penos and they loose, they will crap themselfs .

    ET now .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,369 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

i'll admit i was watching until 60mins, switched back on 89 and city are 1-0 down with a penalty against from the stupidest handball from evans.

how the hell did city manage that?

seriously, xavi, i've seen you comment that this kind of stuff is part and parcel of supporting city, its a rollercoaster, but that has to be a new level of screwing things up tonight. you could still get through obviously, very easily so, but by God how you've made it this difficult is beyond me!

i genuinely feel for all you city fans, unbelievable. God bless your hearts for the next 30-60mins.

Anyone want a quick virtual bet as to which side would win the shoot-out if that happens?

    I bet Aalborg.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,156 ✭✭✭DubDani

So far 2 German, 2 French, 2 Ukrainian and an Italina Team qualified.

    Hamburg
    Bremen
    Marseille
    PSG
    Kiev
    Donezk
    Udinese

and then either Aalborg or ManCity.

I think almost any of them could win it, but I believe it will be one of the 2 german teams.
