Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey guys,

    I know your probably sick of these questions but... :)

    My friends looking to get a good digitial camera with
    1. at least 5x optical zoom
    2. videos with decent resolution and with sound
    3. good night modes
    4. Small
    5. Ease of use (a camera that will take good pictures without having to be a good photographer to set a lot of things manually)
    6. high shutter speed for catching movement
    7. Won't be out of date in a year

    She's looking at these two at the moment:

    You're in the wrong forum, this is the digital darkroom for post processing with the likes of Photoshop, put your query up on the general photography forum.

    You appear to be looking for a compact camera so expect most models to offer 3x optical zoom (ignore digital zoom) and forget 'good night modes' since most compact cameras are not great at focusing in poor light.

    Canon compacts are top notch, the Powershot A480 is a new model and represents good overall value. Pixmania is no longer the cheapest place for cameras which they once were, look at Calumet or Jessops or Warehous Express.
