Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I wonder if this was the reaction Fergie was after.... hmmmm....

    Methinks:

    1. Take them in at half time
    2. Hairdryer
    3. Stab at least 2 of them
    4. Bring on Rooney at least

utd really are playing poorly, it's great :p, but i really don't know what's happened. the inability to pass a ball 5yds, as has been mentioned, is frightening at the minute.

Looks like United's luck has run out.
They were jamming so many matches 1-0 they believed their own hype.
    They couldnt keep that up.
    Scholes is finished btw.

I knew this match wasn't going to be as easy as the other ones but I didn't think it would be like this :(

nobody jump on the bandwagon of utd being in any way, shape or form being finished. even if this finishes as is they're still 4 points clear.

and 2 bad results does not a bad team make.

1-0 down to Fulham at half time?

It's not the biggest of asks in fairness. They are still a far better team than Fulham ,even with a man down. Level it early in the 2nd half and Fulham will collapse.

HT, well Fergie will do some re-organsing and Hodgsen will have to give an equally good talk, Fulham need to retain disipline and play Utd as, well as Liverpool would in such cirumstances, cannily.

mg that was an utter disgrace of a first half by utd

    Giggs,fletch,evans,Berba,Ronaldo and oshea
all have been worse than brutal

my displeasure for oshea really is at a high these days

It is when they cant defend , pass or shoot , i cant remember a Utd shot on goal .... dont know whats up with them the last 3 games. they have been just brutal

I really can't see Utd getting three points from here.
Fulham at home have a very good record especially defensively and they have everything to play for. There is also the case of 11 v 10 so it's not as if Utd can throw the kitchen sink at them. There is also the issue that two of Utd's back four are on yellow cards.

of course you're right. that's a perfectly rational analysis.

doesn't mean I'm going to preempt anything though. nothing's ever over until it's over. us pool fans should know that as well as anyone.

After last Saturday I thought that was as bad as I'd ever see United play.

Well done Utd, you've managed to prove me wrong.

Rooney and Tevez need to be brought on now. We need workers now.

    HT Stats from the Beeb

    Possesion
    Fulham 62% Utd 38%

    Shots on Target
    Fulham 5 Utd 1

    Shots off Target
    Fulham 6 Utd 1

Any one else worried about nobody knowing what the hell they're supposed to be doing?

Its really unusual to see so many heads down and no experienced players or coaches getting on peoples backs or giving reassurance.

Utd didn't play that badly last week. you were hounded out of it in general play, outplayed for periods, and punished for mistakes.

utd have far more space to work in this week but so far you can't pass a couple of yards. all credit to fulham, but utd are having a lot of say in their own downfall here. more so than last week imo.

tbh I wouldnt be suprise to see all of them coming on

    utd need a goal asap

my opinion of berba is like a rollarcoaster these days

Bearing in mind what happened against Pool a few mins after a triple subbing I'm sure Fergie will be more careful this time.

must have been some first half from fulham. 11 shots to 2?

    keep it up!

Definitely Tevez and Rooney but I dont know if I`d want Carrick anywhere near this game.

Berbatov or Ronaldo defintely have to come off with a 10 man team. in fact both should be taken off but I cant see that happening. I honestly think Ferguson is afraid to take Ronaldo off so if its anyone it will be Berba.

    Bizzare starting line up.

Ok, keep telling yourself that. It was the worst performance by a United side in a very long time. Liverpool really were nothing special, but as usual the media love having a w**kfest over them.
That's all I'm saying on it, because this is after all, the Utd-Fulham thread.

We can't get any worse surely.... I'd back us for a draw at least if he brings Rooney on sooner rather than later
