Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

must have been some first half from fulham. 11 shots to 2?

    keep it up!

If Zamora or Johnson were in any sort of form it could well have been curtains. As against that VDS was probably UTD's best performer which says it all.

Will be very interesting to see what the stats look like at the end of the game. Will Utd try and battle back into it or will it be a case of the towel being thrown in?

No surprise in that. I really wish Ferguson would grow some balls with Ronaldo.
Sure he can be fantastic and unplayable when hes at it, but he can also be a huge liability when hes having a sulk and acting like a spoilt kid.

look SlickRic i dont want to start an argument with you

man utd were brutal last week end off and dont give me that bull-**** about hounding players down,if utd could pass last week we wouldnt have lost or lost so badly

no argument necessary. you know you were outplayed end of, and there's no rational argument you can give to suggest otherwise. just because you get PO'd doesn't make it any less true.

utd weren't great, but not as bad as this week thus far. that was merely my point.

teams out again, keep it going fulham.

He's just upset that he didn't get the 50 tampons a week in his contract :):p

    Come on Fulham!

Bit more goin on with United this half at least

Is being bald a prerequisite for signing for Fulham?

Fergie needs to take off Ronaldo before he gets himself sent off. Absolutely disgraceful from him today!

    From the BBC

"Cristiano Ronaldo is producing one of his classic pantomime performances at Craven Cottage today. He is tackled by John Pantsil, fair but hard, and goes down like he has been shot. It's the look on his face that does it - like he's about to burst into tears. Maybe he is."

"Disgraceful performance from United. Rubbish all over the pitch, and Ronaldo and Berbatov's attitudes are unforgiveable. Get them off at half-time, Fergie, and stick on some players who care about the club."

"Cristiano Ronaldo is booked for a silly lunge on Danny Murphy. Cue more missives accusing me of being anti-United. I'm not, but I'd take Ronaldo off - he's not having a positive influence on the game"

Terrible performance from Ronaldo so far.

you could say that for most games, but people like to forget about that when he gets a goal

cant wait till he's gone tbh, just drives me mad

Rooney has looked hungry so far.

Good god when I saw there was a special thread for this game and that it was longer than the weekend fixtures one, the vein on my temple started pounding, then when I opened the thread and saw some of the comments I didn't know whether to laugh or rage. 1 nil down and Scholes sent off... LOL.

I dont think that is quite it. Last season he had games like these (to a lesser extent) but his attitude this year has been unforgivable. He looks like he bought his ticket to madrid already.

Only a matter of time I would say before Utd score, why Fergie left Rooney on the bench at the start, makes no sense.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,435 ✭✭✭✭redout

    Apache is coming

    About time

    Schmoo off

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Fulham change, Murphy hobbles off. Dacourt on.

Rooney is an absolutely fabulous player.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

This is why Rooney is probably United's most important player, especially with Scholes out.

This game will define our season I think. If we lose this :/

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,492 ✭✭✭MementoMori

    Schwarzer you genius you ;)

Taking Berba off and bringing Rooney on has made a massive diff.

I just think Utd are going to start to tire the longer the game goes on
