Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I assume other 5D II buyers from Gunn's and I guess Dublin have been contacted and anyway....
    Got a phonecall from a Canon rep who said that Kathy Gunn had passed on my details about buying a 5D II and that there is a seminar on the 30/3/09 and some guy called David Newton will be describing

    "Colour
    Colour space
    White balance
    White balance shift /bracketing

    RAW conversion
    A discussion on RAW and JPEG - the whys and wherefores
    A look at DPP and what it does/basic usage
    A discussion on other RAW convertors

    I forget what time/hotel...
    I deleted my e-mail!
    Leinsterman was to pm me the details again..no sign of it!

    I phoned Gunn's at 10.20am asking where and when this was on, they said they'd phone back, 10.32 call comes back with Temple Bar hotel and 10.30am!
    I legged it over and was only a few mins late.
    The guy David Newton I thought was excellent and he had a right lively member in the audience with Leinsterman!
    Learned a few things and I kept thinking I'd left my 5D II down when I kept seeing other peoples.
    Had 2 lovely cakes on the way out.
    Spot prizes were scabby mind.
