Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am led to understand that the Temple nightclub is starting to host the show of all shows starting next Saturday night.
My tipsters inform me that there are to be some lovely ladies and cages in conjunction with fire works inside ??????
Not sure exactly but keep an eye on this space.
Maybe something different in the town is not such a bad thing

Heard it through the grapevine (Not that I would go to such sleezy shows cough cough) that the night got off to a slow start but really lifted at the last two performances.
6 lovely ladies gave adult theme performances.
Sun drenched beach outfits on stage.
A larger crowd than usual on the night and it looks like it can only get bigger.
€10 admission and I think all drinks €3.50

I'll probably be working there this weekend. It's the same crowd that do the Slick Chicks, News of the World Score Angels, Freaks Come Out @ the Academy, etc.

It's a burlesque show - think the Pussycat Dolls in their original incarnation.

Wasen't a bad night. A bit quiet there. Needs more people. the Foundry is too full on a Sat night. The Temple will grow and grow I hope. Change is good.

    Beside The Barrow pub. Upstairs.
If only they could get the crowd from the other side of town. Its a fine set up inside. Cosy. Much better that the other option in Carlow.

The cover charge for the Sat night is €10 and drinks are cheap too.
You probably would want to leave it until 11.45 12.00 to go in. A bit quiet before that time.
Treated with a little respect there too which is a change.

    Yep Its true. Honestly. hehehe
Well I think the security people in the Temple are a little more chatty and dont throw you out for little reason.
Seen them in action a few times. Good lads. Except for the one or two that dont seem to speak any English or dont want to wnhen it suits.

    Thats the Foundry for ya.
I cant understand why people still go there when that happens. Maybe they enjoy being treated like cattle in a crush. Packed inti the place. Money money money

what i find funnier, is buses from kildare and dublin flock to the place.
over priced, over crowded and crap music.

the temple will hopefully bring a breathe of fresh air to the town

im more specifically talking about the foundry itself. but whenever i go in with my mates they never want to go to the tower.

    i generally do 1 of 2 things.

    1. Get a drink at the bar in the foundry and then head to The Tower.
    2. Put my coat in the cloak room between the Foundry and The Tower and then go to the bar in the Tower.

My friends generally know where to find me.

Just heard that the show could be getting a little raunchier as the weeks go by.
Interesting. Could be worth a visit eh? :o:D

Have been to the Tepmle a few times. A bit quiet a lot of the times especially at the weekend. Mon and Wed are busy enough though.

I did see some people leaving after a few minutes but I think they missed the better part of the performance later on.
Not that I would know a good performance from a bad one. Dont watch that sort of thing. I am a good lad I am.:pac:
