At least a few people wouldn't get drunk so even less people will be able to enjoy their New Years Eve in peace :)

We must never get rid of Paddy's day. It's the only opportunity to get all of our incompetent and meddling ministers at once out of the feckin' way for a few days:D

Incidentally, is there any truth in the rumour that Obama and his wife thought the shamrock Biffo gave him was for making sandwiches and ate it the next day?

What if we have an 'Ashamed-To-Be-Irish-Day'?

    Think about the MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I normally would kind of feel a little like the OP but this year I had a great day, not least because of the fecking lovely weather. There is an obscene amount of under age drinking but that needs to be sorted out by the parents and shouldn't harm the rest of us who were having a few cans in the sun with friends celebrating being Irish. If parents would not let their children run wild we wouldn't be facing the problems we get every St Patricks day.
