Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,
Anyone got any recommendations and/or general comments about dog friendly campsites in Ireland????...nd indeed bringing the dog along for the trip???.........(its a thing I paid little attention to during previous stays in campsites). The notion topic of getting a dog is being debated in our house at the moment....(again).......whether a mut could travel with us during weekends away might be the key factor!!!
    thanks
    Bertie

Most campsites have no issues with dogs, I've only ever come across a few where they were expressly forbidden (all of those unfortunately had no prior warning of this and left us more or less stranded for the night, so ring up in advance and make sure that dogs are allowed)

Our dogs love going away in the camper. Just make sure that the dog is well trained so it doesn't become a nuisance to other campers and bring lead(s) (to tie it up so it doesn't run amok on the site) , bowls, pooper-scooper and lots of old towels for drying the dog.
