Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Piss easy with gmail using pop 3. When setting up you just select gmail from a list and give it your username and password. IMAP is a little harder but there are some great guides for it.

Thunderbird is a standalone application. It's made by mozilla but it's completely independant of firefox.

    Download from here (http://www.filehippo.com/download_thunderbird/).

I'm only able to reply now as i was away.

What about your contacts in Outlook can you export them to Thunderbird, as i meant to say that earlier, as i'm thinking can you only do it with one email address OE/Gmail from changing over to Thunderbird?

Thanks, i'll not leave it as long the next time.

You can import your address book and mail.

You would have to export it from Outlook first, which I believe is as simple as going to File -> Export -> Address Book.

Then in Thunderbird, goto Tools -> Import -> Address Book

As far as downloading it goes, I would go directly to the source ( http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/ )
