Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    * He may only last 10 minutes though

The way he played yesterday it might have actually boosted Irelands chances if he was playing! :pac:

I dont think it would have made much of a difference either way to be honest lads.

Why? Would us losing Kevin Doyle make a difference?

    Fantastic news [for Ireland].

Kinda wish he was playing. I get the impression he is a massive distraction in the international team, and hinders rather than helps them.

Individually, when he's up for it he can win a game on his own. It's a bonus to have him out methinks

If we had have won 1-0 from a Robbie Keane goal and Berb was playing it would have been awesome to see the lads in the studio after the match.
Comparing Keane to Berbatov and who Spurs were better off selling.

"Nothing player. A fat clown for all to see."

I thought it was more Andy Garcia myself

His goalscoring record is unbelievable so it can only be a good thing that he's out. Italy are missing 8 or 9 first choice players too. If Pirlo or De Rossi got booked in Montenegro they're in big trouble for our game.

LOL - the news will probably knock 5k off the gate.

Will be a great weekend: Rovers and Derry in Tallaght on Friday then Croker on the Saturday.

So is Boj (is that ex Lazio player) back playing again? How long was he out for? Did he manage a couple of games for city?

Usually players run around 10 km during a game. Berbatov, for Bulgaria, was clocked in at an impressive 2.4 km. That's probably less than what the goalkeepers get.

    says alot about berba

That couldnt be right could it? He'd put up more than that watching the match in the pub between going to the bar and the toilet.

Berb is a petulant Anelka in his heyday

In fairness Anelka has got his $hit together in recent years, apart from his gay celebration (along with the yak).

no its correct, after the match, the Bulgaria coach said that if Berba doesn't want to play, then he should just be honest and not bother turning up as opposed to making his team play with 10 men.

That is indeed great news. I will be there.. it should be good!

You mean the one he dedicates to his daughter?

    Oh yeah, what a tool...

    64 International Caps, 41 goals.

I will say it, I'm sure Trappatoni, Given, Dunne and O'Shea would echo it.

I'm fúcking delighted Berbatov is out for the Ireland match, if you don't agree there is honestly something wrong with you.
