Soccer v Poker - Requiem - April 19th

Right I've been PM'd by theresalwaysone and The Chopper in regards to getting another one of these going.

Date's would be either the 12th or 19th of April.

Once again first preference goes to those who played already

I'd be looking at our strongest team as:

If ditpoker would be interested in playing for us then he'd be one of the forward slots.
And either KaG or janets(Idu) as the other CM

Not yet, anybody who has played previously has first refusal though.
I haven't organised any dates yet, the poker lads said those were the days they were available so it'll be either of those dates.
I PM'd the people who played the first game about the last one and only got about 5 PM's back, but then when I put the thread up they all said they were available so wasn't bothering this time.

But he did play the last day, centre midfield with me. Really good player.

He isn't in your OP but the others are so that's why I mentioned him.

Yea, the 19th, might affect some of the poker side as the Irish Open is on.

Im up for it anyway depending on time. I know I have a fight next month but no date is set, assuming its not the Sunday before im in. Both my legs were destroyed for nearly 2 weeks after the last one, don't know how it happened.

I know he wasn't available for the last one but Iago is definitely worth a first refusal imo if he's available

Available on the 12th there Frisbee, the 19th is the Cup Semi final and seeing as how I was only a tot when we were last there I'm afraid I couldn't commit to that day.

If it's on the 12th though I'll be down for it.

I just assumed a Sunday because it suited everyone the other two times.
I know a few off the poker team especially play with their grass teams on a Saturday. I play Saturdays too.

If Saturday suite more people fair enough. Same as with Easter Sunday though I won't be playing/organising

Looks like ye are beginning to get a team together, will we say the 12th since no one can really play on Easter Sunday?

I have our Caretaker manager Kayroo on duties to get the Poker team ready, hes putting up a thread just now.

I'll play, sure. dfx was there for the first game in goal, so if he wants to play stick him in I say. I'd be happy to get a run outfield. Jeff (ditpoker) indicated he would like to play for the soccer forum. If we throw him up front they won't be singing anymore imo.

I know Xavi has one, I let him take one back to Australia with him, as he used to play for Boardeaux.

Yeah I knew you knew about that, was just making sure you were counting it.
I'm fairly sure we had at least 11 the first time, as I came on as a sub and still had a jersey.
Wasnt there at the start last time so got a jersey off who i was swapping with.

So minus the one Xavi has that should leave ten.

Who took one lads? I'm assuming by accident... Or at least I hope so
