I have searched on google for this but cannot find what I'm looking for. Is there an application for Mac that allows you to send SMS through your iPhone using your own network provider, rather than paying per text for them to be sent over the internet? Thanks.

Theres an app called Eirtexxt in the app store that does this for you.

Eirtext runs on the phone itself.
