Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lesser known brands...

Just wondering, do brands like walker or bush etc provide good quality televisions?

I've learned to swing towards quality over price, so I don't want to shell out €350+ on a lesser-known brand tv and end up hating it. I'm looking for a tv ~26" for gaming. Should i go for the likes of LG/Sony, or am i better off saving the money and getting a beko or bush etc?

Generally speaking, brandname TV's have better picture quality than the cheaper brands. Biggest problem I see on cheaper sets is ghosting and/or poor contrasts. Beko is a bit better than Walker or Bush IMO, but still not as good as brand name sets (some brandnames though may use rebadged hardware for their bottom of the range).

Most have the same screen panel believe it or not but the rest of the set is just not as good, i'd rather pay a little more for a LG to be honest
