Hi all. I'm having major issues with a site I put up some time ago. Its a Joomla 1.5 site that's been optimised for fast load speed. Its been working perfectly for months, but for some reason its now taking up to a minute to load? Nothing's been changed and there doesn't seem to be an issue with the servers..

Is there any easy way to pinpoint what the problem is? I'd really appreciate any help you can give..

Could be your database? Have you indexed the tables?

Just looking at that now.. Wouldn't I get a MySql error page if it was though?

I just looked at the servers page and apparently they *are* experiencing difficulties so that's probably it. Is there a way to run a quick diagnostic on loading though? An online tool maybe? Just in case...

Dont think you'd get an error, as nothing is actually wrong with the DB tables - they're just not optimised.

I don't know MySQL that well, more of an SQL SERVER user myself, but maybe you could run a few select * queries against the bigger tables and see what type of results you get.

I'd be surprised if there arent applications out there to do this for ya
