Watching the Le Mans 24 hr race on and off since early afternoon.. Dreadful crash earlier this afternoon and thankfully ( somehow... a bloody miracle) the Audi driver Mc Nish got out of his car relatively uninjured... Another horrific crash involving another Audi just now.. Alot of worried faces...

Finished the book there a couple of weeks ago, loved it. Now on to the second of the series.

I have about 10 books queued up between kindle and ye olde paper books..

But I will get around to getting it and reading it [actually around my birthday I would think, so someone could get it for me!] - heard nothing but positive reviews from folks about the book

The TV adaptation is very true to the spirit of the books, so its fair to say that if you liked one you'll like the other.

(Unlike the Lord of the Rings movies  )

Based on famous F1 driver. Seems to be attempting to capture the passion for the sport as opposed to fame and success (along the same lines as Invictus was for Rugby or When we were kings for boxing)

    Supposed to getting great reviews

All the same to me what people say - can't be arsed to actually hate it.

But I HATE it when people stop me jogging/running to ask directions

Pretty much anyone I know who saw it has loved it, even those who aren't F1 fans.

Forget about your Man U's and your Leeds U's, Liverpools and Celtics. Tonight at 1am Irish time is some real sport. Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final. It's not often that the best of 7 series goes to a final game in the Stanely Cup Final. Vancouver Canucks V Boston Bruins. 2 great teams with great history. Should be a cracker, and if Vancouver win their first ever cup the place will probably shut down for a week! Should be seriously tense and dramatic as both teams chase the most famous and distinctive looking cup in all of sports.

If I've convinced one person here to tune in then I've done my job.:D

Not today thankfully as took a night off yesterday and stayed in doors. Was in bits in the office all day yesterday. Its a bloody nightmare from now till about mid July then it seems ease off. No amount of tablets work.

After my long bike on sat i sat in a dark room with the curtains pulled for about 2 hours with wet tea bags on the eyes to help. God im nuts.

To think i use to try play golf with it.

Do you use eye-drops for it at all ?
I find them good, can't remember the name of the ones I use but they're pretty standard over the counter hay-fever eye drops.
If I put them in before running I don't get a flare-up and if, or rather when, I forget to put them in beforehand they calm the symptoms pretty quickly after a run.
Think they cost a fiver or so, money well spent.

It would be if I was actually able to get out for a run!

Tablets, eye drops and nasal spray most days. Does reduce things a bit but it still plague's me. Generally get very wheezy too and use an inhaler during the summer months. Somehow managed to forget it today and have a cyling race straight after work

The damn pollen was really getting to me last Friday, but I've since been pilled up again and have been relatively fine since. Even survived a 10km race along country roads last night without any ill effects, other than for the couple of flys that I swallowed.

Ah right, obviously a more severe case of it than I have myself, sounds like a right pain in the hoopla.

Took claritin yesterday as I was dying and it worked within the hour. Antihistamines generally don't agree with me so was delighted to find my new magic bullet. Back taking my nasal spary and I'm sorted thankfully
