Why do people insist on inputting "202.31 miles" in to the 1,000 mile challenge table when the heading clearly says "Running Miles".
    And 2 places of decimal?
    Stick in 202.3
We'll all understand that it's miles .

Well personally having done 0.002743 light seconds so far this year I think the extra decimal points are needed.

Here's a question for you. Possibly a can of worms. Let's say somebody want to run a big city marathon via a charity entry (not my kind of thing, but each to their own). Now say that individual decides the best way to raise the money for the charity fee is to hold your own fundraiser, e.g. a raffle.

Is the raffle really in aid of the original charity, or is it in fact in aid of the person wishing to run the marathon? Is it just another way of raising money for the charity (sub-contracting the fund-raising), or is the individual fund-raising for themselves to meet their own financial commitments?

I'd call it raising money for the charity. That's where the money is going.

Its for both. I'd love to build houses in Africa for a week or climb mountains in Peru or entry to the London marathon. Its a bonus that the money goes to charity. I'm sure some do it for the charity alone.

I did 20 minutes work, took a two hour break and now I'm returning to it. To be fair I did about one third of one assignment in that 20 minutes. I really am that much of a complete genius.

Wouldn't mind so much but the assignments are for a work course and are 100% irrelevant.

FAO anybody that runs/walks/happens to be in the general area of the science and engineering building, carparks K, J & H and sport centre in NUIG: if you happen to come across an engagement ring on your travels send it this way...

I've spent the past 3 hours on my hands and knees combing the area to no avail :(

A friend of mine is still stuck in Thailand and is not too happy with his travel insurance, sounds like the insurance company is taking the piss, if anyone has any info that may help him I'm sure it would be appreciated.
