Folks, a bit off topic, but does anyone know of a supplier of flexible metal tubing similar to that used for vintage Merc exhausts.
I only need about 100mm of the stuff and with an internal diameter of between 30 -35 mm
It is available on line, as it's used in fabricating turbo exhaust systems for modified cars, but it's all 40 mm (id) or bigger.
The part on my motor is split and it's NLA, from the dealer/manufacturer.
It connects to the turbo wastegate. It gets very hot and so needs to be fairly heavy steel. I'm happy enough to fabricate something using the existing flanges if I can source the tubing.
    Heres the damaged part.

    Flex tubing here,

And just so it has something to do with classics, a pic of a Merc 540K. exhaust;)

    Thanks for the above replies.
Will try the UK company when I get a mo and Deevys is on my doorstep, I practically haunt the place! so that'll be my first port of call.
    Mark.
