Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just heard it on the radio, they're considering closing their Athlone and Miami plants and having their manufacturing under one roof in the new Dell plant in Poland.

ASAIK, thats 70 jobs gone in Athlone. Opinions?

Personally, I think Alienware is way overpriced in the first place, but either way, its another loss in our tech departments in Ireland

Seeing as they were bought by Dell a while back its no surprise they are hightailing it too.

It makes good business sence to close down here and move to poland where wages are quater of what they are here and the government tax incentives make for huge profits
