Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Things to do on Stag in Galway

    Hi All,

I am looking for some kind of activity to do on a Saturday in Galway City. Looking on here, a lot of the ideas are outdated as places have since closed down. e.g Karting track closed.

If anyone knows where we might be able to play 5 A side soccer during the day, that would be great.

Or if anyone has any suggestions that will keep us out of the pub, then I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks

Went clay pigeon shooting on one last summer. Good craic, great way to kill an hour or so. Can't remember where it was, some castle/ hotel, near the city.

Clay pigeon shooting at the arches would be fun.

10 points for hitting the swams
20 points for hitting drunk dickheads
30 points for hitting drunk slags

City limits has really gone down the pan I wouldnt go there. No more Go karting (it was a tiny kids track anyway). As far as I know they just have imflatable bouncy castles and slides upstairs now. The bowling is ok but I was there last week and you would nearly cut ur fingers off with the balls as they are so old and the pints are crap as the taps are hardly used.

Is Pallas karting not open?? I heard thats the best place for go karting!
    Largest track in europe etc

Yes it is an hour away in Tynagh. Can understand you dont want to travel far.
There was a great place out in knocknacarra that used to be called gorrilla games. It had a giant human fusball (sp) game, sumo wrestling suits etc
I hear it is closed now but may be another company along the same lines. Cant find any details on it though. So i am not much help sorry!

theirs bowling in terryland shopping centre, where theirs also some pool and snooker, but best place for snooker is on elington st, or out in caesars casino in salthill, which above the casion has a nice snooker hall, otherwise some roulette downstairs could be in orders?
