I've only heard of one person who gets very good speeds from o2 in wexford, but I haven't tried it myself, will be shortly hopefully though.

Speed will depend on your exact location. Someone else's experience will be meaningless to you. The only way to know whether it will work, is to try it yourself, or get someone else to try theirs at your location.
