Just wondering if anyone knows why the Maynooth village is being dug up at the moment? The road works are causing pretty bad delays from Kilcock/Moyglare Road directions.

My first guess was they were building a roundabout on the junction and at the entrance to the South Campus.

Dont think thats what it is though since that big round concrete foundation thing they put down is so close to the vodafone shop...

I hear this work is going on all summer, with them digging up various locations around the town.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles to avoid the DRS fee.
