Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Eddie Jordan was brilliant this weekend and really earned his place on the talking heads group. He called things like he saw them, used his experience, asked useful questions and didn't waffle. Jake, Eddie and DC are making a great team as I thought they would when I first saw them. Eddie and DC talking about Kimi and Hamilton was forthright, clear, and well thought out.

Legard still needs to shut up and let Brundle talk though.

Are you talking about the post race forum? Didn't see that but I thought during the general coverage Jordan was an embarrassment. As usual.

Suspend Kimi because his car retired and he had an ice cream and a Coke?

For Christs sake give the guy a break.

its kimi attitude in general that eddie has a problem with as do alot of people. the ice cream/ coke incident was a another example of that, fair enough his race was done but his work wasnt. he should have been trying to find out whats happened but he doesnt care.

the guy is on a constant break i dunno maybe we were too spoilt by years of schumachers work ethic/attitude and it hard to adjust to kimis apparent lazyness. fair enough the car is pretty crap this yr but what was his excuse lastyr? massa had a fantastic yr last yr, dis yr he is as bad as kimi, but they both hav 12 races to turn things around, the championship is gone but i still think they can finnish well in the constructers.

Thats funny because Eddie didn't have a problem with it after the Malaysian GP, fast forward a couple of weeks and its a big problem for Eddie, EJ wants to be the Eamon Dunphy of bbc's coverage.

I don't recall eddie bringing up the subject of the Ice Cream shot at all - someone else did and Eddie comented on it - he was incensed by Kimi's lazyness is not making 100% sure of qualifying. He made the very clear point that even if your boss is a moron (as Domenicali seems to be), or your engineers have ****ed up, as a driver your job is to drive the team on - to provide that hunger and determination, and a guy on Kimi's money should be dragging that team all over the garage to get the car out the door. On a race day, for a driver to sit in the car and say "I don't feel like going back out" is unforgivable, and you could tell that if that was Eddie's driver, he'd be on his way out the door with an attitude like that. It's not often that Eddie and DC have been on the same page this year, but when it came to qualifying they were both shocked and very critical of Kimi. DC even mentioned that a few races ago he'd questioned Kimi face to face as to whether he really cared and was given short shrift, but that based on Saturday he didn't believe it.

On the other hand, Kimi's had 2 years of "Alonso's taking your seat" so maybe he's just happy to be out of ferrari - though that shouldn't stop him wanting to win.

Just to let ya know Jake Humphrey has a really good blog where he talks about the behind the scenes action of the f1 paddock. He also got to drive Jenson and Lewis around silverstone this week- lucky duck!
