It's not good riddance, just goodbye. I never really liked the jean character. Found her far too deep for a soap and I always got distracted during her scenes.

The bipolar thing just went on for too long and seemed to suit Stacey's character far better.

But in soapland they all live happily ever after. Goodbye Jean.

She played the characterof Jean well but I used to always grab the remote and put it on mute when she came on, could never take all the screeching.


I'm liking Ronnie since she returned, she seems to have got it together and is standing up to Carl.

I really liked the character of Jean and thought she was played brilliantly by Gillian Wright. She really deserved her happy exit, I liked the relationship between her and Kat in recent months. I always felt she was overlooked for acting nominations but she finally got a best actress win last year.

Well Peggys return was very underwhelming.

Much better storyline would've her leaving the hospital to find Carl in the Vic, slapping him, 'get outta my pub', then when Carl is about to attack her, Phil bursts in and Carl sulks off.....duff duff duff

I really don't get what all the hype was over Peggy coming back for that one episode. I was glad when she left and tbh that episode was rubbish, the best part was when the credits ended
