Sam is seriously getting on my nerves, I don't see why she is back - she adds absolutely nothing to the programme.

I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to Kat and Alfie coming back or not - they were responsible for the plot of the worse EE episode in history - Alife's "hilarious" adventures running round the city looking for condoms.

Also, are EE going for some kind of baby record or something? Roxy has a baby, Heather has a baby, Stacey has a baby, Sam has a baby, Ronnie's pregnant, and

Kat's pregnant.

Janine and Ryan's happiness is set to be short-lived in EastEnders.

Returning to Albert Square from a blissful honeymoon, Janine soon discovers that Ryan is the father of Stacey's daughter Lily.

A furious Janine orders her new husband to leave before she angrily heads over to Stacey's stall.

All hell breaks loose on Albert Square as the two come face to face and Ricky is left trying to pull Janine away...

Cathy Murphy has joined the cast of EastEnders, it has been confirmed.

The critically acclaimed actress will play the feisty Julie Perkins, whose arrival on Albert Square turns Billy Mitchell's (Perry Fenwick) life upside down as she forces him to face some shocking home truths.

Speaking about the role, Murphy said: "Like our characters, I've known Perry since I was 16 and he is a brilliant actor. We've never worked together before so I am looking forward to getting stuck into our fantastic rollercoaster of a story."

The arrival of Julie, described as an "antidote to the snarling women of Albert Square", will leave Billy stunned to discover that he may have more skeletons in the closet waiting to be discovered.

Julie will be Murphy's third role in the BBC soap. She previously appeared in 1997 and more recently in 2005 as Trisha Taylor - the mother of Leo, who fathered Demi Miller's baby.

It's pretty annoying isn't it.

I thought there would be a phantom buyer of the Vic and it would be refurbished with a welcome party planned and bam it's Kat and Alfie behind the bar That would be too happy for eastenders though :pac:
