rebuilding costs

    Does anyone have an idea or link to up to date rebuilding costs. I've a 3bed semiD about 25 km from Dublin city. insurance renewal had a rebuilding cost of a good bit more than the price we bought the house for....

    you will find a good idea of rebuilding costs here . It is much better to be over insured than under insured when it comes to a claim.

    Yeah, I know about being overinsured alright, I was just wondering if rebuilding costs have dropped in the last year or so. I actually searched the chartered surveyors site for 'rebuilding costs' but it came back blank.

    Remember, rebuild costs include demolition and professional fees. These costs would be an addition to the re-building of the property.
