So, I've heard the new bridge referred to as the 'cat flap' in Waterford. Is there a Kilkenny name for it yet?:D

No thoughts on a knickname but I was down in Waterford during the week and it is a very impressive structure indeed. Looking forward to it and the M9 opening in the Autumn.

Hmmm, at least the people of Waterford are actually acknowledging the border is there now and not just "North Waterford" :D

    No

the Pylon to which the cable stays are attached, which in turn supports the bridge deck is firmly lodged on Deise ground
