Nokia Problems

Hiya guys i have a nokia phone but i cant get any coverage so no texting,calling or internet. There is no Vodafone sign at the very top of the screen. Its bugging me and have been going through the settings but cant find how to fix it.

It seem that it is unable to connect to the network.

1. Have you tried turning it off and on again?
2. Did it ever work?
3. Does your SIM work in another phone?
4. Does another SIM work in your phone?
5. Have you changed networks or got a SIM replacement recently?
6. Have you tried using the phone in another location?
7. How long have you had this problem?
8. Have you called Vodafone?
9. What phone is it?

Is the phone in Offline Mode? Go into your profiles and select General.

If that doesn't sort it, it sounds like the phone's IMEI was blacklisted because it was reported stolen.

Yeah its in general mode......its just like it hasnt choosen a network.:eek:

Bloody annoying and i can assure you its not stolen

Its the sim thats the problem as it doesnt work in a different phone

Possible old/faulty sim. Just go into a vodafone store and ask for a free replacement sim. they will do it on the stop for you. That should fix the problem for ya
