Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Gerrard-Rooney situation is an interesting one. Both do seem to be switching round a bit but tbh i dont think this gets the best out of either. Both are quality but how do you play them both in the same team? In fairness they've done alright but it is against Slovakia after all.

Also, I would have thought this was a great opportunity to see Jagielka alongside Terry. Maybe its just because I dont rate Upson tho.

61 min John Terry has a goal disallowed for acting the goat. Beckham swung over a free-kick from the right that was headed back whence it came by Crouch at the far post. It had beaten the keeper and was going in, but Terry - in an offside position when Crouch headed it - decided to grab the glory and studded it in from a yard. As a consequence, he cost Queen and country a goal. You can't arrested for trying to steal a goal, can you?

Taking the piss out of Slovakia for the whole match. Think one of them said they wanted them to play their Sunday league team. Comments like "if Slovakia beat them(some other team) they can't be any good".Thought it was quite poor form...
