Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problem connecting to xbox live

    Ok i got the xbox 2 weeks ago and am using the month free gold trial
    Up to yesterday live worked perfect.
    im using a wired connection
    Since yesterday it would say disconnect every 20 mintues.
    Then it would work perfectly
    Went to play it last night and would disconnect after bout 30 seconds and now today it either wont connect at all or do the same thing.
    Internet tests are showing that it can connect to the internet but not live.
    What can i do?
    Im not great with all the technical gibberish on the sight,

    type in your ip address in your search bar on your pc and bring your firewall level down to low that should help it

    Sexmag is saying try this. Might not be the problem though as you've already had some success on live, but worth a shot.

    Sounds like a router problem. Just google "xbox live port forwarding" + plus whatever your router model is. You'll find plenty of sites that will tell you how to open up the ports that you need for xbox live. (3074 & 88, I think off the top of my head).

    However, since it worked before (was the NAT open back then?), try powering down your router for two minutes with the power cable plugged out. Sometimes it's as simple as the router freezing up, if you're really lucky.

    I wouldn't do this since port forwarding is a much safer option and maintains your routers current firewall settings, just allows the xbox through without lowering your overall security
