Off on me holidays to Donegal next weekend for few nights. Staying in Inishowen Peninsula. Any recommendations on what's to do. Fancy some walking/hiking as well as taking in some of the sights etc.
    All ideas appreciated!

PS other half wants to know what pubs are good?!?:p

    Pubs are all good :)

What to do? There are a lot of scenic areas in Inishowen so a bit of driving around would be nice if you just want to take in the scenerey. You didnt mention kids but there is a indoor amusement place in Redcastle if thats relevant. You could also head into Derry for a bit of shopping or depending where you are coming from Strabane is a good spot also for shopping.

Here's an old thread with a couple of posts and links but would apply to all of Donegal and not just Inishowen.

    Well on the peninsula...

Mamore gap is an interesting drive...
    Malin head.. most northerly point...
There is some sort of nature reserve on inch island if you're into that sort of thing.
    The Granian...
