    Hi all

    Currently building a house of c3000 sqft in the South East. The house will have a lot of windows (>40). Any recommendations as to window/door types and suppliers?

    Istanbul, you need to provide more information:

    What windows were specified on your planning drawings?

    What are the general finishes on the builing facades?

    Are you employing a contractor or building direct labour?

    How much money are you willing to spend?

    What is your main criteria? Is it appearance, performance or cost?

    Try ********** could value and they have a wide range.

    Normally best price as well. Got 12 windows/2 door for about 4k.

    We are building a small timber frame house by direct labour in Galway.
    We are looking for a wooden window low U-value (1-1.5)
    hoping not to pay too much. Any recommendations for providers???

    Talk to <SNIP> - ask for the <SNIP> glass (A Rated window).
    They will give you any ral colour internally but restricted to a few colours externally. There manufacturing unit is in <SNIP> - excellent quality for upvc and one of the best on market.




    Mod edit: You could have PM'd that info just like you asked someone to PM details to you of a stairs supplier in another thread.
