Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hope this is the right place.
Ive saved a few chemistry notes on Microsoft Word recently.
Now when I try to open them like this......
    Start>Documents>Grinds>Chemistry>Atomic Theory
I am greeted with the following message
"Windows cannot find C:\Users\Aaron\Documents\Grinds\Chemistry\Atomic Theory.docx, make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again"

But when I go into the Microsoft Word application directly and then open a file from there, it works perfectly!

Can someone tell me what Im doing wrong?

I highly doubt its you doing anything wrong, and I would have a good chuckle if I found out this problem wouldn't occur if you saved it as .doc not .docx but I shall leave flaming of office 2007 out of this.

I was going to say this might be an issue with roaming profiles but I assume this is your home computer?

To be very honest, I can just about switch my laptop on. Im saving the file as a word document at the moment. Should I try saving it as some other file type?

    Ah good question! :pac:
Well when I sent the files to a friend he couldnt open them. I believe it may be related to this somehow.

Did you send him it in .docx?

You sure you didn't move the files from the original location?
