    Common sense, really.

    Add in the removal of unvouched "expenses" and cronyism and you'd go a long way towards restoring faith in politicians.

    Won't happen, though.....they only vote to GIVE themselves jobs, extra unnecessary positions and expenses, etc, not REMOVE them.

    P.S. She posed a good question re Roger the Dodger (sorry, I mean "Bertie") too.....are we still paying his wages while he's dossing off ? Or will he need another dig-out ?

    I agree - I heard a radio interview with Bertie after the summer and the interviewer asked him how he is occupying his time now that he's retired?? Yet, he's still getting paid €100k as a TD.
