Electric Patio Heaters v Gas patio heater

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I am looking at getting a patio heater and an electrical one last w/end which interested me it is 2.74kw patio heater which turns it off if no near it after 4 mins. I think it works out at about 35c per hour to run- does anyone have any experience of these - how do they comparet to…

is it a radiant heater, the ones that heat the nearest surface? if so they are good, and if its one with PIR switching, then all the better, however i don't know the output of the gas heaters to compare , sorry, I'm sure someone else will though.
