Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know this has been mentioned here before (and I've searched but no joy) but can anyone post a link to somewhere I can get those Gallery type picture hanging systems, you know the ones with a long track with cables coming down that have hooks on the end for the photo frame?

If you have had any experience with them I'd also be interested to hear about it.
They seem very neat and I was thinking of using such a system in my hallway at home but I have a funny feeling they are expensive

I am in Cork and I was hoping to buy a system online as a pack as opposed to going into a specialist in a shop (because they will definitely be crazy expensive!).

i am not sure where you could buy it online

i think sisslings will mail order

the other place you could try is companies that do signs, they quite often use similar systems

Is it the cat gut type of hanging system, that extend from a ceiling bar and there are little clips to hold the works? I saw Smart Art in Ranelagh used them so you could try ringing them to see where they get theirs. I had a conversation with them about it once and I know she sourced them through a friend but I'm not sure where he got them.

well I'm not too hot on the right terminology but I'm looking for something that is like a rail/track that can be mounted on a wall and then cables will hang from that with hooks on the end to hang the picture frame.

But stcstc has posted a site that would definitely have what I'm looking for, I just have to take a good look and see what exactly I need.

Yeah, I had a look at the site and I meant I had experience with a few of these systems but it was generally for heavy framed paintings and not photographs. I used the clip rail system for this. For your purposes you probably need something less heavy duty. I used to get equipment from a company in the UK called Scraggs but I cant find them on the web. We used to order over the phone.

Best of luck with the search

Thanks Doozie, yes, my stuff is fairly light weight, just a few small glass frames with a few photographs. I'll check out that site stcstc posted.
