    If anyone is interested in running/walking the mini marathon on June 1st to raise funds for A Dogs Life them please pm me.

    A Dogs Life CHY 18640 are formerly Dunboyne Dogs and take dogs from the South Dublin County Council pound in Dunboyne Co. Meath and secure them good rescue spaces. If anyone had been following the pound stats on the Dept. of Environment site you'll see that thanks to this rescue group, which is made up solely of volunteers, this pound has the lowest put to sleep rate of any council pound in the country. It's second only to Leitrim Pound which is run by a welfare group. The site http://www.adogslife.ie/ has just been acquired and is very much a work in progress but basic details are there.

    So if you'd like to help us raise some much needed money for them then please pm me :) Closing date for entries is the 21st of April.
