Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If I'm off that week on short time (if my redundancy doesn't come before that) I'll be up to it.

I'll just point folks to Mike's website, for those not familiar with his work.

He has some very impressive shots alright. I absolutely love his shot of the Terns. I'll be along. I've already got a ticket sorted.

    Hi folks,

This will be an excellent event. I went on one of Mike's tours to Norway last year. He's a great story teller and teacher. I'm really looking forward to listening to Mike on the night.

    Aidan.

There's still some tickets for this event left. This is a great opportunity to hear a professional wildlife (as well as many other styles) photographer speaking and to ask questions.

anyone get along? / How'd it go?

hey, I went and it was very good. I found Mike very interesting. The way he ran it with 3 sets of photographs running for about 10 minutes each with speaking about his techniques and knowledge inbetween has made me want to take my camera out with me right now!

The sets of photographs were 1. animals and flowers, 2. birds and 3. landscape.

    His work is extrememly beautiful.

I really enjoyed it too. It was very interesting listening to how he approaches taking shots. The music accompanying the slide shows left a lot to be desired though :D:D:D
