Buying LG Arena unlocked?

I havent bought an unlocked phone before so dont know all the ins and outs of it so this is where you helpful boardsies come in. I was thinking of getting the LG Arena from Play.com when its released 10/04, because theres no sign of it here for a while i think. If i buy it from there will it work with sim cards here in…

If you buy it unlocked in Europe then it will let you use any SIM in it.

One other little thing, if i put in say a Vodafone sim, would i still be able to use roaming on it? like in the UK or US?

Play.com won't ship phones to Ireland, just the UK, as far as I know.

Once your phone is triband it will work in the US. Then you just need to make sure roaming is setup with your operator.

It'll work in the UK, again as long as it's setup with your operator (i.e. Vodafone).

Has anyone else looked up this phone, its on ebay for 349.99 unlocked, anyone else seen it for sale unlocked on other sites?

Ive come across two sites that are selling the Arena unlocked

Anyone ever used either of these in the past?. Unlocked-mobiles seem to be fairly safe from reviews etc.
