This Friday on Front Row, Sinéad Ní Mhórdha will be marking the fifteenth anniversary of Kurt Cobain's passing with a three hour special dedicated to the short life of the Nirvana frontman.

The show will include an interview with Charles R. Cross, writer of two Kurt Cobain biographies: ‘Cobain Unseen' and ‘Heavier Than Heaven' and journalist Tanya Sweeney will be dropping by to discuss Nirvana's music, what it meant to a whole generation and how they became the foremost band on the grunge rock scene.

Giveamanakick and Royseven will also be joining Sinéad in studio to talk about Nirvana's influence on their music, as well as playing covers by the band.

There'll be plenty of Nirvana tunes throughout the show and five copies of the MTV Unplugged DVD up for grabs so make sure you're tuned this Friday from 1 to 3pm.

    We miss you Kurt e.gif

I was listening to In Utero the other day, it's aged pretty well. Love the drum sound on that album

It is a shame this is on when I'll be at work. Agreed on In Utero, listened to it the other day and man it still sounds great. It would be my number 2 Nirvana album after Bleach.
