Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Vista restored from Upgrade Disc...

I've really messed up my system - I managed to wreck Vista and get into an infinite reboot loop. The PC originally had XP Media Centre Edition 2005 on it and I got an upgrade disc from DELL to Vista Home Premium. I then made the decision to reinstall from the upgrade disc - big mistake as I then discovered it would not accept the product key. Microsoft told me to revert to XP and then upgrade and the product key would work. Unfortunately Control + F11 wont work and I've no XP discs - any suggestions?

As a possible alternative I still have my free Vista Ultimate disc from the "Heroes" event last year - would it still work if I did a fresh install?

    Any suggestions most gratefully welcome!

Should have added that I've seen references on some sites to installing Vista on top of Vista with an upgrade disc and its supposed to accept the product key second time round - not in my case
