Can anyone recommend a company, in the south dublin area, that does the 12 driving lessons for the car license or tell me which ones I should avoid. Must be one that offers lessons in the evening after working hours.

If anyone of a nervous disposition/learner is looking for recs in the South Dublin area I have one - and I'm a former poster here looking for one too. Five instructors later I have one I'm more than happy to recommend especially anyone anxious - I was borderline phobic and he specialises in that.

Hi,

I'm based In Ranelagh/ Rathmines and am looking to take a series of driving tests and a test over the next 3 months. I actually got my first learner permit in 2010, and am on my 2nd one now, so I don't have to take the 12 tests - However, I am not averse to going through them if there is a good deal on them.

I can drive OK and just need to get up to speed for the test and I can practice during the week with a few different friends.

So, can anyone advise me on a good driving instructor who also is good value when you book a series of lessons?

Looking for a recommendation of ADI to help me get a good chance at passing my test in a month's time. Have previous driving experience outside EU but have not driven in 8 years. Looking for a few lessons. Affordable and instructor that knows the in's & out of passing the test is what I'm looking for. PM me. Thanks

Looking for a good instructor in Roscommon to do a number of pretest lessons.

It's for my mother-in-law who has been learning for years but has yet to pass, her main issue as I see it is she gets very nervous on the day and does not fully listen to what is being asked of her. She is not from Roscommon but decided to try the test there over her home town so she needs some specific experience on the actual routes used. Myself and my wife have taken her around the routes we know but she needs proper instruction and for a professional to assess her and let her know what she needs to improve on.
